Everyone, at least once, was emotionally hurt by someone else. It happened to even the strongest of us. If you were emotionally hurt by someone, how long does it take this wound to heal? or wouldn’t it heal at all? I once heard a quote from a wise man that says "Time is enough to heal any wound". Is this really true? Does time really makes us forget the bad things others did/said to us? Or can someone really hate someone else forever? Is there such a thing as "What was broken can never be fixed"?
There is an argument that said that one of God’s greatest gifts to humans is that he gave them the ability to forget. I really believe in this.. I believe that our ability to forget over time is indeed a gift, otherwise if we can’t forget, then life would just not go on! Maybe we won’t completely forget the incident, but time will make us forget the grief over it and thus allowing us to just move on with our lives.
